Danville, INDIANA --The Jericho Society is a non-for profit 501 C organization founded by Henry Sakowitz in l984 as an organization dedicated to non-euthanizing alternatives for pet population control. The Jericho Society is one of the very few no-kill shelters located in Indiana. For over 15 years it has operated a kennel and "cattery" that provide room, board and medical care for unwanted dogs and cats. Many of these animals are available for adoption. The kennel currently houses 127 dogs and cats. All animals are spayed and neutered upon acceptance to the facility.

Animal Rescue Fund is a no-kill animal shelter located in Muncie that provides animals with a home-type environment while they await adoption. New Hope Pet Rescue, Syracuse, IN, is a group of three women doing their part to address the ever-growing pet overpopulation problem. In addition to keeping dogs and cats in our own homes, we have enlisted several other foster homes. We are a nonprofit organization.
