Statement from the website:

"This platform changes the game for struggling pet owners, who may have thought their only option was to give up a loved pet to a shelter. Human Animal Support Services created this free, first-of-its-kind platform to make accessing pet support services easy."

RED ROVER RELIEF

The Red Rover Relief website is a great source of information on agencies that provide financial help to pet guardians in need.  The site lists numerous agencies, organized by state, breed, condition covered, etc.  The organization also gives grants in specific circumstances, stating: "The RedRover Relief Urgent Care grant program provides financial assistance, resources, and emotional support for pet guardians struggling with economic hardship when pets are in life-threatening situations. The average grant is around $250, and is intended to fill a small gap in funding that is keeping an animal from care."

THE PET FUND
"The Pet Fund is a registered 501(c) 3 nonprofit association that provides financial assistance to owners of domestic animals who need veterinary care. The Pet Fund works only on non-basic, non-urgent care, such as cancer treatment, heart disease, chronic conditions, endocrine diseases, eye diseases, etc. We receive over 200 calls daily from pet owners needing help, and we typically have a wait list for assistance. Eligible pet owners can apply for a one-time grant which must be for already-adopted animals whose medical needs match our care category and wait list time. Pet owners must reside in the United States." thepetfund.com
